The ball gag disappears when the BotBr is caught tagging 40 or more entries in future compos. I'd like to make the NPC's a little complex. Perhaps you might also be able to find them in an NPC Barn. We've already seen the potential in this with the random messages. Non-Player-Characters (or Non-BotBr-Characters) will be who you buy/sell items from. Different varieties of each item will be available and the boon value will be decided by a combination of the items' base value and amount of Hit Points. The item's degradation would be noted to it's owner with messages a few times in it's lifespan. Every time the item is used it looses these Hit Points until finally they reach 0 and the item breaks/crumbles. Items will have their own Hit Points or Break Index. Still plugin away at concepts to make BotB more RPG-esque.
